Today I found out about the Levi's Hipstamatic Contest.

Isn't it interesting the ways by which we attempt to imbue our industrial, mass-produced products with auras?

I'm not critical of it at all; in fact, I love the sentiment: make things that are essentially as far away from hand-made as possible look hand-made. Fairly incredible if you think about it.
