🥬My top piece of advice for new vegans is to learn a couple go-to dishes you can always make, so you don’t feel lost. But I notice vegans online lack the knife skills to not hurt themselves. This is a collaboration with the #1 personal chef in Orange County, Chef Ryan Perez from Chefe Productions. He’s agreed to help me show beginners a few tips to keep their own blood out of their food while keeping animal blood out of it, too. Go Vegan!
🔪Most home-use knives don’t need regular sharpening. We only sharpen knives in professional kitchens once a week, but we hone knives every day. If you’re a beginner, learning how to hone your chef’s knife is a great place to start. It will keep you safe and will lengthen the life of your knife as well.

GO VEGAN 🥑
I always watchin people cooking on YouTube, and I cringe because it looks like half these people are going to cut their damned fingers off. So, I got with Chef Ryan, the number one private chef in Orange County, and we're making some knife videos.
If we an save just one vegan's finger from getting cut off, I think it'll be worth it.
This is part one: honing. Most the time, when people cut themselves, it's because their blades aren't aligned properly, and they have to apply more pressure than they normally should, and the knife slides off the product and cuts their sensitive little digits.
I love the idea of saving vegans from themselves. So here goes!
What are your favorite things to learn on YouTube? What vegan lessons should I make videos about?
